Fifth Harmony perform Destiny's Child Medley on ABC's Greatest Hits

Fifth Harmony have paid tribute to Destiny’s Child by performing a medley of their most loved songs on ABC’s Greatest Hits.

The show, hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Arsenio Hall, features musicians paying tribute to the best songs from the 80’s, all the way through to the 2000’s. The latest installment showcased the biggest hits between 2000 and 2005.

The girls from Fifth Harmony decided to wow the audience with a Destiny’s Child medley. Beforehand, the group shared their excitement about performing songs by their biggest inspiration.

“Destiny’s Chid was so female empowering. You kind of listen to all the lyrics and you’re like ‘yes!’. You feel good when you listen to them. You’re singing the lyrics and you’re like ‘you’re right! Yes, I am going to be confident, I’m gonna survive’.” Ally said.

Camila continued, “In the beginning, we were playing shows in malls next to pharmacies, and now we’re getting to be on this show paying tribute to the girl group that inspired us, it’s definitely full circle.”

The girl power medley included ‘Say My Name’, ‘Independent Women’, ‘Bootylicious’, and ‘Survivor’. All five girls got to showcase their vocals, and they served some powerful harmonies too.
