The Liberty Hill High School family is greatly saddened to hear of the loss of one of our own 11th-grade students, Kathryn Hope Hubbard, who passed away yesterday evening.
This news has brought great sorrow to our campus and has impacted many at Liberty Hill High School. Our thoughts and prayers are with the student’s family and friends. At this time funeral arrangements have not been made. We will communicate that information as it becomes available.
Students often react strongly to a traumatic event such as this, even if they did not know the student well. Counselors are available to assist your student(s) should there be a need. If your student is experiencing difficulty in dealing with this loss, we will have a district support team on campus available.
We will maintain as normal a routine as possible while supporting our students. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if there is a need. We are here to help. This is a difficult time for everyone, however, I know that our staff and students will continue to support one another.
